I've been working full time as an illustrator since 2022, but have been drawing and painting all my life. Before that I worked in digital media (graphic/web design and video editing) in mostly corporate settings. That was good because it helped me develop clear and effective communication skills, as well as how to manage projects and maintain a high level of quality control.
But really, I'm passionate about illustrating and writing children's books. I love to try out new styles and subject matters, and enjoy working both with companies and individuals.
My work philosophy is that each endeavor needs to be a good fit for both parties and I'll only get involved in a project if I am confident I can do an excellent job.
